  We had the family room with kitchen and en suite. It was clean and very good value with everything there you will need at a very good room rate. Would highly recommend if you are on a tight-ish budget.

  Friendly, clean, helpful and so kind! I think it’s a family business and the whole family is such a lovely lot. I’m a Te Araroa hiker, out for a few months hiking and we never know when we’re going to arrive until the day or so before. And they were very accommodating and helpful. I arrived later, at 9, but had a friend call ahead and they were available for check in. Comfy, quiet room (small rooms - what an awesome bonus!) and I had a great sleep. Clean facilities. The Christmas tree is up and a fire is going in the wood stove. A lovely place and easy location. I’ll recommend to friends. Thanks for a great rest from the trail!
